Microchip your Animals

DART logo DART provides with the aid of local vets a low-cost program to help residents identify and more easily recover their companion animals in the Woodside Fire Protection District.

Pet identification costs $25 for a dog or cat and $45 for horses. The fee includes microchip identification, lifetime enrollment in the American Kennel Club (AKC) companion animal recovery database and CERPP’s

DART database

As part of the program, CERPP has also purchased a universal microchip reader that can read the information on all US pet identification chips used by area veterinarians.   Enabling DART to safely return animals to their rightful owners after an emergency.
